WWE SmackDown Results 30/11/24 : A decent show

SmackDown

Welcome to Wrestlmeet’s results for WWE SmackDown on November 30, 2024.

SmackDown

While it was the last SmackDown Before Survivor Series Wargames, SmackDown Delivers a good show this week, well it was nothing like mind-blowing but it was overall a decent show. We have seen Carmelo Hayes in action, the first time Shinsuke Nakamura was in ring after his last feud against Seth Rollins, A cinematic segment between Roman, Punk, and Paul Heyman, 5 on 5 brawl before Wargames, and much more

A Decent Promo from Women Before Wargames

Smackdown

The show starts with Rhea Ripley, Naomi, Bayley, Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair in the ring addressing their opponents of Wargames, Like Always Rhea’s promo was on fire, the hatred between her and Liv can be felt in this promo, her new Dashing Mask also looks good on her.

Bianca addressing Jade getting injured made some questions like is she going to turn heel? is she the one who attacks Jade? because after all, we know Jade vs Bianca is about to get happen in Wrestlemania But someone has to be babyface and someone had to be a heel, so if Bianca is going to turn heel it’s going to be interesting to see Bianca as a heel in the main roster for first time.

Naomi comes with some cringe promo I don’t know why but it doesn’t connect with me nor with the audience. The crowd was dead silent, Iyo just said one line and she was over as hell among fans

Then their opponents Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Tiffany, Raquel Rodrigez, and Candice came out with again weird laughs and dramatic style of liv, I don’t know Why Liv try so hard to act like a maniac, her weird laughs always sound so annoying, anyways as they march towards ring liv and her team stops and move back towards the backstage, before they get their , Rhea and her team go outside the ring and attacks liv’s team and a brawl starts after that officials came out and separates them and this segment ends with Rhea’s team standing tall against Liv’s team. Overall A decent promo from the ladies.

Nakamura in action

After that we see Andrade vs Shinsuke Nakamura in action, Nakamura came after a long time, The entrance of Nakamura was so badass, but his theme song I felt get ruined. His current character looks like Sting’s character. He is in a cold version of himself. It would be good for him to do less talk and more fighting in the future, His presentation on this show SmackDown was awesome.

The match was fast-paced, The thing with Andrade is every time someone entered the ring with him it’s always going to be a banger, Nakamura also looked good in this match. We see some athletic and high-flying action moves from both superstars. Nakamura won this match after he exposed Andrade to the turnbuckle and delivered his finisher Kinshasa to Andrade.

Even though the match was good But I felt that Andrade is not going to get over the fans with his babyface gimmick, he was good as a heel in addition to that he needs a mouthpiece for himself because we all know Andrade isn’t that good at the mic.

After the match was over LA Knight came out and tried to attack Shinsuke but Nakamura spit mist on his face, and Nakamura left the ring without attacking him. Nakamura’s character looks amazing hope WWE doesn’t fumble with him this time again.

After that, we move towards backstage where Nick Aldis interacts with The new bloodline of Solo Sikoa, where he informs them that he bans everyone from the ringside in the match of Jey Uso and Jacob Fatu in a Wargames Advantage match.

We also see DIY interacting with each other, where Tommaso Ciampa looks frustrated over Johnny Gargano because of his friendship with Motor City Machine Guns and not focusing on the tag team championship.

Cody Rhodes Vs Carmelo Hayes in a decent match

Cody Rhodes wrestles in this week’s edition of SmackDown where in the last episode of SmackDown he challenges Cramelo to wrestle him this week.

Before that, we see a promo of Kevin Owens where he talks about how Roman Reigns put through him in a lot of pain during the COVID Era, and in Royal Rumble 2023, and Cody stands with Roman this year in Bad Blood. Here Owns Tries to justify what he did to Cody. Well somehow his reasoning makes sense, and we can feel empathy towards him.

After that, we move forward to the match where Cody wrestles Carmelo in a decent match. This was very slow paced Carmelo is starting to look like a jobber, he just doesn’t feel the same as he was in NXT, Their last match was much better than this one, but this match looks like a filler on into the Smackdown.

Cody won this Match by hitting Cross Rhodes to Carmelo Hayes.

Cinematic Segment between Roman, Punk, and Heyman

Roman Reigns

In last week’s edition Of SmackDown Punk helps Roman as Paul Heyman Introduce him as the fifth member of the OG Bloodline in Wargames, anticipating us for the interaction between Punk and Roman.

Then we move forward to an Amazing Segment between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Paul Heyman. Where Punk makes wait Roman for their meeting, we see Roman in his old version of himself as an egoistic person. Punk came out, Roamn cleared that he doesn’t want him, Punk clears that he isn’t in this match for him, he is here for Paul Heyman.

Roman makes a statement where he said that he doesn’t like Punk’s attitude, and Punk himself. Heyman interrupts and says that divided they are going to fight Solo, but united they can stop him. Punk then clarifies that He is for Paul, what Solo did to Paul made him angry.

Finally, Roman Agrees to team up with him and owes a favor to Punk, but Punk denies his favor where he says that Paul owe him a favor where he claims that Paul is the Wiseman of both Roman and Punk. Punk then left from there

Roman asks Paul that what favor Punk is talking about, but Paul states that he needs to focus on wargames first after they can talk about whatever they want.

Piper Niven, Michin, and Lash Legend in a triple-threat match

From the opening bell, all three competitors showcased their unique strengths. Lash Legend’s power moves and Piper Niven’s brute force were on full display, while Michin’s agility and quick thinking kept her in the game. The match saw several near falls and dramatic moments, with each wrestler having their moments of dominance.

The turning point came when Lash Legend, after a series of powerful maneuvers, seemed poised to secure the victory. However, Michin capitalized on a momentary distraction, delivering a stunning senton to both Legend and Niven. Michin managed to pin Niven, securing her advancement in the tournament.

Jey Uso Vs Jacob Fatu in Wargames Advantage match

Jey Uso, known for his resilience and high-flying maneuvers, faced off against the powerhouse Jacob Fatu, who made his presence felt with his sheer strength and agility. The match was a back-and-forth affair, with both superstars showcasing their signature moves and countering each other’s attacks.

The turning point came when Fatu surprised Jey with a pop-up Samoan drop, followed by a devastating moonsault, securing the victory and the WarGames advantage for his team. This win not only marked Fatu’s first televised singles victory in WWE but also set the stage for an intense showdown at Survivor Series.

Jey Uso, despite the loss, demonstrated why he is considered one of the top stars in WWE, putting up a valiant fight and earning the respect of the WWE Universe. The match was a testament to the incredible talent and competitive spirit within the WWE roster, promising an exciting WarGames event.

Overall This week’s edition of SmackDown was a decent Show before Wargames. SmackDown is slowly improving as a weekly show again, hope that it gets better with time again.
